Our Doctor

Dr. Eric Benefield
I was born in Grand Junction, Colorado and grew up enjoying the outdoors through camping, skiing, fly fishing, etc... My family moved to Pleasant Grove, Utah when I was 18, where I did my undergraduate studies at Utah Valley State College. I served as a missionary in Colombia, South America for two years from 1994-1996.
My wife Aimee and I were married and had our oldest daughter Samantha in Utah before moving to San Mateo, California. I was blessed to be one of 140 students out of 2500 applicants to be accepted to attend the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where I graduated #1 in my class in 2003. While in California we had our second daughter, Kaylee. After Dental school I served as a dentist in the Army for three years in Fort Polk, Louisiana where our third daughter Avelyn was born. In 2006 we came to Phoenix, where we will stay! Our fourth daughter Rachel and our first son Hinckley were both born here in Glendale.
My favorite things in life are religion (I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints), family, being outdoors especially when its 115 degrees in the summertime while hiking, playing golf, etc...
